Fort Wayne, Ind. – The City of Fort Wayne's Office of Housing & Neighborhood Services invites shelter and service providers to a presentation of progress on the community’s plan to prevent and end homelessness, insights from street outreach efforts, and networking opportunities. The meeting aims to work together to brainstorm solutions for a better future. The event will follow-up on the Prevent and End Homelessness plan unveiled in 2023, providing updates on the developments made and goals achieved.

The strategic plan was created in partnership between the City of Fort Wayne, United Way of Allen County, the Fort Wayne Area Planning Council on Homelessness, and Homebase, a nationally-recognized consulting firm, to evaluate the state of homelessness in Fort Wayne. Everyone Home serves as a guide by providing goals, strategies, and action steps to address the community’s homelessness challenges and prevention needs. The mission statement is to prevent homelessness by connecting residents to supportive services and swiftly and equitably housing everyone experiencing homelessness.

The Everyone Home Annual Meeting is March 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the ACPL Main Branch, 900 Library Plz. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided.
